my favorite moments in paris

One of the things I love the most about travelling to places you love is those moments. These moments that you can remember so vividly as if it was happening to you right now, those moments that represent your time at the place, and that aren't necessarily special to you, but that can and will happen to anyone who goes to that certain place. So I decided I could incorporate this into my top tens by making this my top ten favorite moments in Paris. As usual, no particular order.

1. Hanging out in the Tuileries on a bright and sunny day, watching people pass by, children running around, musicians playing even though they aren't supposed to. You could just sit here forever on the bench and let the world pass you by, maybe having ice cream or a crepe from one of the vendors, just letting the sun warm your skin and breathing in the fresh air.

2. Sitting outside in that Parisian cafe, eating that Croque Monsieur, and knowing you couldn't possibly feel more Parisian than you do right now.

3. Entering the hustle and bustle of the Champs Elysees where people dart in and out of stores with music playing and the general excitement that shopping brings, whether you're at Louis Vuitton or Nike there is just this exhilaration of being there.

4. Walking through the little cobblestoned streets of Montmartre, past the cafes and the accordion player, looking up to see Sacre Coeur, and then over at the rest of Paris and feeling as if you are at the top of the world.

5. Arriving in Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, and realizing that you really are there, that it's not just a dream.

6. Relaxing in the Champs de Mars as the sun goes down, watching as the Eiffel Tower lights up, and then eventually begins to glitter.

7. Walking down the Eiffel Tower steps at night, after seeing all of Paris from the top, you can continue to see its magic as you go down the stairs, watching the lights from the buildings get closer and closer, feeling as if you are in the center of it all, because you are.

8. Riding a boat on the Seine, whether its at night when everything is lit up, or during the day when its bright and sunny and you can see couples along the side and people tanning, and life just happening around you.

9. Going around the base of the Eiffel Tower at night with the guys flying those little helicopters they're trying to sell, and as you try to make sure none of them fall on your head, you can look straight up and see the immensity above you.

10. Just walking alongside the Seine, passing the book sellers and bridges, having the ability to cross one of these bridges to enter the Right or Left Banks, and knowing it’s like being in two different worlds that although different are also the same.

The New And Improved

So I was looking in my archives of blog posts (because you KNOW I have so many -- note my sarcasm) and I saw my old top ten best looking guys. And then I realized that I don't feel that way anymore. Since then I have been introduced (not literally introduced) to a bunch of new guys, and those old guys have NOTHING on the new guys, so uh here we go with my new and improved top ten best looking guys!

1. Yuri Pleskun (Model; he's now number 10 on models.com...I blogged about him about a month ago...Don't you love his blue eyes?!)

2. Francisco Lachowski (another model...I also blogged about him haha)
3. River Viiperi (yet another model who I blogged about a few weeks ago)
4. Ian Somerhalder (actor from the Vampire Diaries, former model. He was in the old top ten guys)
5. Alex Pettyfer (British actor in Beastly and I Am Number Four, I made mention to him in my movie post about Beastly)
6. Enrique Iglesias (Spanish singer; I love his song Tonight so much! And I made a post just for him last year!)
7. Zac Efron (actor no longer to be associated with just High School Musical, if you ask me. Also in my old top ten)
8. Joseph Gordon Levitt (actor in Inception, which is where I fell in love with him as Arthur...he was in two of my top tens...the old top ten guys and the top ten couples...he was in couple number 10, Arthur and Ariadne from Inception)
9. Zane Holtz (former model, actor in Make It Or Break It, which has started to be really bad so I might just watch the show for him now haha)
10. (young) Leonardo DiCaprio (actor obviously but I super fell in love with him in Titanic...I mean, who wasn't in love with Jack by the end of that movie?)

So that's my new and improved list. And I think its much much much improved!!

By the way, today is my birthday, in case you're wondering. I'm 18~

the most epic moments in harry potter history

These epic moments are from the books only. And they aren't even like the typical epic moments you would expect. They're more like the moments that I don't know I can't even explain them other than they're just EPIC. No particular order.

1. Fred and George Weasley saving Harry from the Dursley's in their father's flying Ford Anglia. I mean, come on! You hate the Dursley's so much and then all of a sudden BOOM there they are, outside Harry's window, ready to save him in the most EPIC way possible.

2. Mrs. Weasley dueling Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle of Hogwarts. Her famous line will forever stay in my head: "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH." Hell YES Mrs. Weasley. I hadn't seen it in you. But I am SO glad you got rid of Bellatrix. And your word choice...spot on. I never thought I could consider Mrs. Weasley to be badass. But well what other word could be used to describe her in this scene?

3. Ron: No, I mean we should tell (the house elves) to get out. We don't want anymore Dobby's, do we? we can't order them to die for us- Hermione: *Throws herself at him* They are just the cutest couple ever omigod don't get me started.

4. Book 1, Hagrid storming in that little house in the middle of the freaking ocean to tell Harry the truth...I just liked how the Dursleys were utterly POWERLESS. They didn't know what to do. Hagrid just CAME ON IN to save Harry and make everything better! And of course even more epic: the whole pig tail on Dudley thing. Good choice Hagrid, good choice.

5. So George loses an ear. And what's he have to say about it? George: Saint like. You see...I'm holy. Holey, Fred, geddit? Fred: Pathetic. Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear related humor before you, you go for holey? ...How do you NOT love Fred and George? Seriously.

6. Harry was stupid and the Marauder's Map ends up in the hands of SNAPE. Snape taps the map with his wand, demanding for it to "yield the information it conceals" and instead of that, it shows the very interesting opinions Mssrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs have about Snape. My favorite is probably Mr. Padfoot's "astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor." Priceless.

7. Malfoy the Bouncing Ferret. Need I say more?

8. Harry tricking Lucius Malfoy into freeing Dobby. "Master has given Dobby a sock! Dobby is free!" YES DOBBY YES YOU ARE FREE. And now you can kick your dumb master's butt! Well it doesn't exactly happen that way but HAHA LUCIUS MALFOY YOU STUPID JERK!

9. Fred and George getting back at Umbridge and flying off into the sunset on their brooms. As if I didn't love these two enough...My greatest wish is that I could have been there to see them taking off on their brooms, with their completely EPIC farewell to their school and oh there is just too much about this scene that I love you should just go back and read it and re-live the awesome. If I HAD been ranking these epic moments, this would be number one. For sure.

10. Gryffindor winning the Quidditch House Cup in 6th year...Harry just walking into the celebrations and Ginny just THROWING HERSELF AT HIM LIKE BOY WE JUST WON AND LET'S JUST SNOG ALL NIGHT LONG BECAUSE WE WON THE FREAKING QUIDDITCH CUP. I would've been such a great Hogwarts kid with my school spirit and super love for Quidditch.

Yeah so those are my ten most epic moments. Could you tell that I love Fred and George?

lets get personal

Usually I hate it when people talk about their personal lives and deep feelings on their blogs or tumblrs. I don't mean as much when they talk about themselves, because obviously that's the point of blogging. I just hate it when people will pour out their heart and souls. It's just sort of a pet peeve of mine. I mean if its really your deepest darkest secret, then why are you posting it on your tumblr on which 2,000 people are following you, with at least 1000 of those people who actually know you personally? Well I'm breaking that rule I have in this post. I think it's going to be my first post that's actually more personal, and not just my random ramblings.

These are ten things I would like to say to certain people. Yes, specific people, but not necessariliy ten different people. Some of the things are to the same person. And some of them I would say to two or three people. Most of these are directed towards my friends, but if you're reading it, don't assume everything is about you and get insulted. And on the same token, don't assume none of these are about you. Because I'll bet at least one is. Also, I tagged this top ten, because its my top ten things to say to people, and also I think these are pretty common things people think but would never say. So here we go.

1. I hate that you take me for granted. Maybe, just maybe, I won't always be here.

2. You're right. I don't understand. But maybe if you explained, I could try.

3. I watch you screw up your life and it breaks my heart.

4. Sometimes I feel like I'm walking on egg shells with you. I'm afraid of standing up, because something might break. So I don't stand. I just take it.

5. We give each other that same fake smile every day, and I miss it when things were real. Then I remember that they never were.

6. This may sound cliche, but the world does not revolve around you. No really. It doesn't.

7. You've hurt me so much and you don't even know it.

8. Let's go crazy. Please oh please oh please.

9. Can you just listen to yourself just for once? Because I don't think you'd like what you hear.

10. I'm going to miss you so much. I can already feel it starting to hurt.

couplesss

Here is my list of the top ten cutest couples in the movies and tv.

Will and Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean, played by Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly. My all time favorite couple from my all time favorite movies! :) Will spent so much time loving Elizabeth from afar, and he shows how much he cares about her by going off to rescue her, even when no one else has the guts to. And then at the end of the third, Elizabeth is there waiting for him after those ten years. It's just great :)

Arwen and Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Played by Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen. There's just something so cool about elves haha. Plus the whole elf-human relationship is much cooler than the vampire-human thing.

Aladdin and Jasmine from the Disney movie Aladdin. Sorry just had to have the best animated couple in there haha. The song A Whole New World just did it for me :)

Emma Woodhouse and Mr. Knightley from the movie Emma, based on the novel by Jane Austen. Emma played by Gwyneth Paltrow and Mr. Knightley played by Jeremy Northam. Mr. Knightley has got to be the most patient man on the earth, and Emma one of the most clueless...The scene where Mr. Knightley proposes is just the sweetest scenes I have ever seen.

Jamal and Latika from Slumdog Millionaire played by Dev Patel and Freida Pinto. If you've seen the movie, you know that Jamal loved Latika since he was a kid, and the whole time it was so good and pure.

Blair and Chuck from Gossip Girl, played by Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. This picture is from what is definitely the best scene in the entire series. Its the last scene in the last episode of the second season, and its when Chuck finally tells Blair he loves her. And those bags she's holding...they're all of these presents he bought her, because he basically travelled around Europe to buy all of her favorite things!

Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Keira Knightly makes an appearance again on my list with Matthew Macfayden. Jane Austen sure knows how to write adorable couples!

Adrianna and Navid from 90210. Adrianna played by Jessica Lowndes and Navid by Michael Steger. I just love how Navid always sticks by her no matter what happens. Adrianna goes through drug problems, ends up being pregnant with another guys child, but he stays with her the whole time. And in the little 90210 world, I'm pretty sure Adrianna could do much better, but she loves him anyway :D

Elena and Stefan from the Vampire Diaries. Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. Much more realistic couple than Twilight's Bella and Edward. They obviously really care for each other, and even though the whole vampire-human love thing has been getting old, Elena and Stefan do it better than anyone else.

Arthur and Ariadne from Inception, played by Joseph Gordon Lewitt and Ellen Paige. I am aware that they never actually got together, but I'm not the only one who thinks they should. I remember that one scene in the movie that this picture is showing, they kiss, but it was to distract the dream people and bla bla bla you had to have seen the movie...But yeah I still think they would've made the cutest couple ever!

Okay that's all for now. :)

so many beautiful people...

Here is my list of the top ten most beautiful women. If I could look like any of them, I'd be quite happy. :) Here we gooooo....

Amy Adams (TV actress who was in Enchanted and some other random stuff...and yes I replaced Zhang Ziyi with her because I had forgotten about her lol)

Vanessa Hudgens (Disney channel actress best known for High School Musical)

Keira Knightly (british actress, the most beautiful woman in the world, in my opinion, she was in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, which happen to be my favorite movies)

Katerina Graham (tv actress, plays Bonnie in the vampire diaires)

Gwyneth Paltrow (actress, I loved her in Emma)

Megan Fox (actress I suppose...it pains me to put her on the list, but oh well)

Catherine Zeta Jones (movie actress, but was also in the broadway play "A Little Night Music")

Ashley Greene (plays Alice in the twilight movies)

Ashley Benson (tv actress, plays Hannah in Pretty Little Liars)

Victoria Justice (I'm pretty sure she's an actress on Nickleodeon...but don't quote me on that haha)

So that's basically my list. By the way, I don't think I mentioned that you can feel free to comment if you agree/disagree for certain things...or if you think something/someone was left out of one of my lists that belongs there. Whatever you want, but please comment :)

the beginning of top tens :)

So I came up with this great plan, to do like a list of top tens, in my opinion. Today's top ten should be obvious if you start scrolling down...this would be the top ten best looking men in my opinion. Emphasis on MY OPINION. I'll also put their name and their claim to fame, for those who don't know already. Anyway...here we goooo :) (By the way this is in no particular order)

Rafael Nadal (Current best tennis player in the world...last winner of the US Open)

Rain (Korean pop star and star in the movie Ninja Assassin)

Cristiano Ronaldo (Portuguese soccer player and Armani model)

Lukas Podolski (German soccer player)

Joseph Gordon-Lewitt (movie actor...I liked him best in Inception)

Zac Efron (actor...I always thought of him as such a pretty-boy until I saw 17 Again)

Taylor Lautner (actor; plays Jacob in the twilight movies)

Sterling Knight (Disney channel actor)

Ian Somerhalder (TV actor...was in Lost and is in the Vampire Diaries)

Basshunter (Swedish pop star/DJ)

That was fun. Tomorrow I go with best looking women so as not to be sexist. Although it will be much less fun since I'm straight :P
